About Us:
Cedar - “I am an animal lover and share my home with my rescued bunny, Phyl. With around 20 years of experience in animal care, I have personally trained four dogs, including our 115-pound American Bulldog puppy. I have extensive experience with Bully breeds, Staffies, hounds, and hunting dogs, and I’m very comfortable around them, especially since I’ve had hunting dogs in my life for many years. I’ve also trained a German Shorthaired Pointer puppy named Dakota, as well as Lucy, my rescue Plott Hound, and Penny, an Antiguan rescue. Most recently, I have worked for Rover, and I am now focusing on building my business, Cedar + Willow Pets. My approach to care and training is centred around R+ positive reinforcement. I use gentle corrections and both high-value & low-value treats to build trust and strengthen our bond. I do not believe in any form of aversion training”
Allison - “I've lived on the sunshine coast for all 33 years of my life, and I've always had a huge love and passion for animals of all kinds. I currently share my home with 2 cats, 6 leopard geckos, and one blue tongued skink! I've loved and cared for many dogs, cats, reptiles, amphibians, mice, and guinea pigs. I've rescued a few reptiles, and also salamander and frog babies from outside and nurtured them until they were safe to be released to a better environment. I'm proud to say I have certification for small animal and reptile care through PIJACC! (Pet Industry Joint Advisory Council of Canada). I've been around many dogs in my life and have been walking and sitting my mothers dog Tia for 3 years anytime they go away, and also through Rover & Cedar + Willow for around 4 months. I enjoy walking all over our beautiful peninsula as well as the wonderful furry company by my side. I would love to offer dog walking, pet sitting, and house sitting! I'm very excited and happy to be a part of Cedar + Willow Pet Service serving my forever home, the sunshine coast”

Additional Notes:
On leash group walks are our newest offering - We require a meet and greet before taking on any new dog, and we use judefement to assign dogs to pack groups. We wear CaniX trial running harnesses so that we can be hands-free with the dogs.
Off leash group/pack walks up to a maximum of 4 dogs.
